This week we installed a Potain IGO 50 Self Erecting Tower Crane in Dublin on a hire project. The hire period for this project is set to be at least 24 weeks.
This development consists of demolishing an existing 2 storey building and replacing it with a 4 storey apartment block. The apartment block will include 14 apartment units. Our engineers had to carefully execute the mobilisation of this crane as they had to consider the live cables within the working area.
Potain IGO 50 Self Erecting Tower Crane
For this project the Potain IGO 50 was configured with a 36m jib length and a height under hook of 23.2m. The maximum lifting capacity is 4000kg from the tower out to 14.3m and 1,300kg at the end of the jib.
