Self Erecting Tower Cranes

Self-erecting tower cranes are extremely versatile, flexible and offer a host of advantages on all construction sites and especially those with limited space.

Small Footprint

Pedestrian-operated cranes offer enhanced efficiency as they can reach all site areas. The self erector has a small footprint and can operate in restricted spaces on construction sites while still offering both excellent reach and capacity. If necessary, multiple self erectors can operate within a small area on a busy site.

Time Savings

Rapid deployment and dismantling times make these cranes an efficient lifting option. A self erecting tower crane could be set up and ready to start work within 1 to 2 days, depending on the lifting capacity required. The majority of self erectors will be ready on the same day. In addition, moving the crane to another position on the site could be achieved within the same timeframe, meaning less downtime on time-critical projects.

Powered by Electricity

Self erecting tower cranes are powered by on-site electricity or a generator.  On-site electricity results in low noise levels and reduced emissions. Zero tailpipe emissions from the cranes on construction sites will help support the industry’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions in construction.
