Recently our Tower Crane Service team placed a Self Erecting Tower Crane on a York Care Home Project.
The project is comprised of a Care Home development including 66 bedrooms, lounge and dining areas, reception areas and associates offices, kitchens, gallery/tea rooms, lifts, cinema, garden room, nurse station, cafe and shop and storage facilities with associated access, landscaping and parking.
The project was announced by City of York Council in January 2018 (read more here) Councillor Peter Dew, when planning permission for the project was being approved, said: “We need more accommodation of this sort in York and this is a really good use of what is a vacant site. I don’t think it will affect the neighbours at all and it is near enough to bus stops.”
