Mantis Cranes are currently assisting a client on a social housing project at Rosemount in Dundrum, Dublin.
Initially, during Phase 1 of the project, we erected two Mantis TC25 Self Erecting Tower Cranes. In the next phase these cranes will be replaced by two, possibly three, 40m Self Erecting Cranes for the remainder of the hire period.
The construction project will result in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council adding 33 houses and 11 apartments to the Social Housing offering in that area. The project is expected to last 18 months from beginning to completion and will see Mantis Pedestrian Operated Tower Cranes on site until at least August 2017.
The Mantis TC25 is exceptionally easy to place on site as it has the option of an on board generator and permanent ballast. It is ideal for timber frame and light steel frame construction projects. You can read more about this particular type of Self Erecting Crane by clicking here.
