Our service team in Northampton last week placed a crane on a Centre Parcs Project at Elveden Forest.
The Pedestrian Operated Tower Crane, a Potain HDT80, is one of largest and most popular cranes on our hire fleet due to the ease it can be inserted on site and the efficiency that it provides. This model allows a height under hook of 34.2m at the end of the 45m jib. A maximum lift of 1,250kg is available at the end of the jib.
The Self Erecting Tower Crane will be working on an apartment block for the next few months. The development also includes a 48-bedroom hotel and a 51-bedroom hotel with 99 bedrooms, four three-bedroom water lodges, nine three-bedroom executive lodges, energy centre and the extension of an existing Starbucks cafe to create a pottery workshop.
