We’ve been busy in Scotland recently, completing the erection of a Self Erecting Crane in Edinburgh during February and we have another due to be erected later today (more on that soon!).
The construction project that our client is working on includes the conversion of an existing building to provide 42 residential units, three new apartment buildings with associated parking and some landscaping. The setting, as you can see from our pictures below, features picturesque gardens. The Mantis 35.10 was ideal due to the ease with which it can be placed on site, with minimal disruption to the surrounds.
We placed a Mantis 35.10 Self Erecting Crane on site for an initial Tower Crane Hire period of approximately 25 weeks. During that period it will provide a height under hook of 21.7m at the end of 32m jib. The maximum lifting capacity will be 4,000kg out as far as 12m on the jib.
